Q&A with Ryan Gray, Business Systems Engineer

Written by:

Q: What excites you the most about working at a company like Apex?

The fast-paced environment, the high-performing individuals I get to work with every day, and the fascinating product we’re building.

Q: Why are you excited about space?

The fact that what we build here can leave Earth and operate hundreds or thousands of miles away is inspiring. Space pushes us to think beyond limits, and I find that deeply motivating.

Q: You are somewhat new here at Apex. What has surprised you the most so far?

I’ve been pleasantly surprised by the speed at which Apex moves. You expect aerospace to be cautious and slow, but here, decisions are made quickly, and teams are trusted to execute with autonomy.

Q: Tell us a bit about what you do in your free time.

Most of my free time is spent with my wife and daughters at the park or watching Bills games.
