THE SPACECRAFT PLATFORM COMPANY
Apex was founded to enable critical missions & next-generation constellations
Ian Cinnamon, CEO, and Max Benassi, CTO, founded Apex in 2022 to solve one of the space industry’s biggest challenges: the satellite production bottleneck. While the challenge of reaching orbit has largely been solved through reusable launch vehicles and more frequent launches, one critical bottleneck continues to hinder the U.S. and its allies in their efforts to deploy critical proliferated systems: scaled spacecraft manufacturing.
Apex, The Spacecraft Platform Company, exists to ensure the U.S. and its allies maintain a strategic advantage in the New Space Race by productizing spacecraft and building them at industrial scale. These platforms provide the foundation for today's critical constellations and tomorrow’s next-generation proliferated architectures.
Today, Apex is delivering standardized spacecraft at scale by blending traditional aerospace techniques with new space mentalities and lessons from high-rate terrestrial manufacturing. Since our founding, our focus remains the same: short lead times, constellation-scale production, and highly reliable spacecraft.
