Q&A with Rebecca Mabee, BD Director

Q: What excites you the most about working at a company like Apex?
I'm most excited about the opportunity to grow together with a team that is building to meet imperative defense needs and continuing to push the broader industry to be nimble and agile. As we answer the mail on cost and schedule, emerging capabilities that maintain our Nation's competitive advantage become readily accessible to the warfighter on relevant timelines. We are actively changing the landscape of the aerospace and defense industry to our future's advantage.
Q: Why are you excited about space?
Space is the ultimate high ground!
Q: You are somewhat new here at Apex. What has surprised you the most so far?
I've been pleasantly surprised by how much weight each individual's voice carries. This is truly a flat organization and ideas, feedback, and opinions are not just heard but valued and acted upon. People are the greatest asset at Apex and it shows.
Q: Tell us a bit about what you do in your free time.
I like to hang out with my dog, try out new restaurants and coffee shops, go for an occasional run, cook veggie-centric meals, and enjoy all the nature Southern California has to offer.
