Q&A with Daniel Drew, Manufacturing Engineer

Q: What excites you the most about working at a company like Apex?
Apex embodies everything you'd want in a company. It's one team built with authentic people from diverse backgrounds all laser-focused on a meaningful goal. The collaboration across groups is infectious and it fosters an invigorating, fast-paced environment that rewards hard work and thoughtful contribution.
Q: Why are you excited about space?
Space offers new opportunities across all sorts of industries. With launch costs continuing to drop, it's exciting to see the new projects that are now viable for space applications. I'm grateful that I get to help make those missions come to life quickly and reliably.
Q: You are somewhat new here at Apex. What has surprised you the most so far?
The team. Across the board, the Apex team is comprised of smart, dedicated, and selfless people who are always willing to go the extra mile.
Q: Tell us a bit about what you do in your free time.
I love to surf, snowboard, play tennis, and try my best at beach volleyball. In addition, I work with friends on a project focused on reversing honeybee population decline by introducing new technology into aging apiary practices.
