Lance Carter joins Apex as a GNC Engineer. Lance brings over two decades of GNC experience to the Apex team.

Olivia is a Mechanical Engineer at Apex. She recently graduated from Caltech with her B.S. in mechanical engineering and an aerospace minor. While at Caltech, she interned year-round at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory.

Apex’s 100 kg bus model, Aries, will use the Astra Spacecraft Engine™ to support its electric propulsion package. Apex customers are able receive their spacecraft in a matter of months thanks to Apex’s design-for-manufacturing approach, interoperable software, and product-first mentality.

Jaya is a Structures Engineer at Apex. Previously, she built robotic pizza trucks at Stellar Pizza, brought satellites to life at Boeing’s Millennium Space Systems, and kept humans safe in space at SpaceX.

Brian is a Software Engineer with experience developing software for safety critical applications. Prior to Apex, Brian worked on aerospace avionics– he led a successful first flight at AeroVironment and contributed to the first launch at Relativity Space.

Los Angeles-based startup Apex Space will launch its first satellite bus next January, part of its bet that spacecraft mass manufacturing will enable humanity’s greater expansion into the cosmos. The company will launch its Aries spacecraft, which will be equipped with multiple customer payloads, on board SpaceX’s Transporter-10 rideshare mission.
