Q&A with William Pickering, Avionics Engineer

Q: What excites you the most about working at a company like Apex?
Helping to create a versatile satellite to be used for a wide range of missions is a rewarding but interesting challenge.
Q: Why are you excited about space?
I see it as designing cutting edge technology, especially here were we focus on a way to deliver hardware without the exorbitant cost of traditional aerospace.
Q: You are somewhat new here at Apex. What has surprised you the most so far?
I was surprised how quickly I met everyone since we all lunch together and have joined the several sport groups that meet weekly.
Q: Tell us a bit about what you do in your free time.
Currently most of my free time has been working on my masters program, but outside of that I have been making pottery.
