Q&A with Aiden Taylor, Mechanical Engineer

Q: What excites you the most about working at a company like Apex?
I enjoy being part of such a talented team that is constantly growing and developing. We are moving quickly, and it feels like our productized approach is making a difference. I also appreciate the opportunity to have a lot of ownership while being surrounded by great mentors.
Q: Why are you excited about space?
It's exciting to design space vehicles because of the difficult environments they experience throughout their entire lifetime. I like the challenge of designing and testing systems to ensure that they will perform reliably somewhere where we cannot go repair them.
Q: You are somewhat new here at Apex. What has surprised you the most so far?
I am most surprised by how much we have grown in terms of our team, facilities, and product development. It's nice to see all the tools and capabilities coming together so quickly to be able to produce our buses at scale.
Q: Tell us a bit about what you do in your free time.
In my free time, I enjoy biking, flying FPV drones, working on personal projects, and spending time with my cats.
