Q&A with Omar Mendoza, Inventory Specialist

Q: What excites you the most about working at a company like Apex?

Working here at Apex, I’ve learned that there are always new challenges that are going to be presented with such a new company, but with such a great and talented team assembled here at Apex, challenges seem to get tackled easily. The support you get here at Apex is unlike any other company I’ve worked for in the past and that makes it exciting each time I come into work at Apex.

Q:Why are you excited about space?

Its exciting just as kid growing up looking up in the sky and wondering what is out there, just brought out the curiosity in me. So now as an adult it brings me joy that I get work in the space industry and know that the product getting built will be orbiting in space and in some way, I had something to do with it.

Q: You are somewhat new here at Apex. What has surprised you the most so far?

What surprised me is the freedom to share ideas as you built for the future of Apex, it makes it feel like your input is valid and just knowing that the Apex team is always making sure that you have what you need to put your vision out there and be successful at it.

Q: Tell us a bit about what you do in your free time.

In my free time I’m usually hanging with my family and friends, I have a dog who I spoil rotten that I enjoy taking out to parks and hikes. I also enjoying watching sports and playing golf (which I’m not good at) when I can.
