Apex's first bus will carry payloads from 3 customers, including a defense contractor, who Cinnamon noted is “one the largest established players." The startup raised an additional $16 million in a round led by VC firms Andreessen Horowitz and Shield Capital, bringing its total raised to over $27 million.
